What is a laser safety officer?
“Safe Use of Lasers” standard (recognised by OSHA) defines a Laser Safety Officer (LSO) as an individual, with the authority and responsibility to effect the knowledgeable evaluation and control of laser hazards, and to monitor and enforce the control of such hazards.
How its works.
After a quick chat to discern the customer’s needs, a date is set for the free test patch and demo. This is a requirement as every job is unique.
Site work.
On said date we will need to be able to park within 5 meters of the area to be tested. From the van we will quickly erect safety screens and extraction as needed, start our generator and laser, allow a moment for the equipment to warm up, and away we go. The laser machine umbilical has a five meter reach from the van.
Factory work.
On said date we unload the laser machine and ancillaries as needed.
After the satisfactory test/demo,
terms are agreed and work can either commence or be booked depending on the scale of the work. Terms are strictly payment in full within 5 working days.
